Nationwide Delivery

Free shipping is available when you spend £40.00 or more, after any discounts.  Free shipping is usually sent Tracked24.  This means orders should be with you in 24 hours after the minimum fulfillment* time.  Although we endevour to pack things as quickly as possible we can encounter some delays. 

Some products have specific minimum fulfillment to shipping times:

  • Grocery, Delicatessen, Soft Beverages - 2 hours.

  • Alcohol - 2 hours (alchol products are shipped with signature required.  You must be over 18 to receive alcohol)

  • Hampers & Gifts - 2 days (If you need something sooner we suggest you call or email us.)

  • Bakery items for nationwide delivery are made fresh to order and therefore have a minimum fulfillment of 2 days. 

*At busy periods fulfillment time may be longer. 

When you checkout you will be offered the best shipping available for your whole basket.  You will be asked to split the basket if one method isn't available. 

Local Collections

We currently only offer a delivery service for business catering or by special request.  If you require delivery and live in HU postcodes, please enquire with us info@thepickledfig.co.uk.  

We have specific minimum fulfillment* times for local collection as follows:

  • Takeaway - 2 hours (for lunch orders, we ask that they are placed by 10am at the latest on the day as much as possible to help with collection times).

  • Grocery, Bakery, Alcohol, Delicatessen - 2 hours. 

    • Note: Takeaway and Grocery etc in the same order would result in a 2 hour fulfillment.​

  • Hampers & Gifts - 2 days. (If you need something sooner we suggest you call or email us.)

  • Made2Order Family Catering - 2 days (If you need something sooner we suggest you call or email us.)

Perishable Deliveries

All perishable items are carefully packed to avoild any damages to your items while on-route.  We also pop in an ice-pack for items from our deli counters. Items are shipped Tracked24 but if no one is home please arrange an alternative, like a neighbour, as your parcel will not do well left outside (unless in the colder winter months of course).  With that in mind, we only ship perishables Monday-Wednesday and occassionaly on a Thursday as we don't want your parcel stuck in a depot all weekend. 

Refund Policy for The Pickled Fig Delicatessen & Artisan Bakery

This policy explains how The Pickled Fig Delicatessen & Artisan Bakery refunds you when there are damages to items you buy from this website.

We do not accept refunds of any items from our deli counters, bakery, takeaway, catering or made2order. 

We will however, refund any items that are smashed in transit providing this is reported to us within 4 hours of you receiving your order with photographic evidence of both the product and box to info@thepickledfig.co.uk
